Du libertinage

Thursday 23 November 2017 at 7 pm

New lecture of the Invitations to the Imaginary.

Michel Maffesoli, in collaboration with Guillaume Fedou, editor-in-chief of Playboy France, welcomes Philippe Rigaut, author of “Fragments sur le libertinage contemporain”, along with Claudia Attimonelli and Vincenzo Susca, authors of “Pornoculture”, about their books published by  Éditions Liber.

Sharp minds have long been noticing that “The Shadow of Dionysus” has been insistently spreading over all postmodern societies.

Roland Barthes had a premonition of its arrival, while Maurice Merleau Ponty drew attention to the importance of what he called the “flesh of the world”.

This free-spirited (libertine) discussion will revolve around this new mystery of incarnation, another way of saying an “ordo amoris” in gestation.
