Born in 1993 in Athens. Works in London and Athens.

Eleni Papazoglou is an artist, designer, and educator. Through assemblage, printing, performance, writing, and pedagogy, their practice examines the societal systems we commonly use to connect with one another. In particular, they expose the waste produced by language, labor, and commerce—the residues of an advanced mode of subsistence within a capitalist system. By examining and employing the vernacular aesthetics of commerce, they question pre-existing value structures, developing adaptive mechanisms within consumerist systems that aim to exclude, marginalize, or oppose. Eleni Papazoglou earned their MA from the Royal College of Art after completing undergraduate studies in graphic design at Camberwell College of Arts. They teach at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, and carry out design commissions under the name Call Your Friends. Their work was recently the subject of a solo exhibition, Half a second or less, at Soup Gallery (London, 2025); a duo show with Oona Wilkinson, Bearings, at Calcio (London, 2025); and a monograph, Products & Services, published by Foolscap Editions (2024).
