I Don’t Believe in Computing
I Don’t Believe in Computing is an independent music group founded by artists Corentin Canesson (guitar, bass), Charlie Hamish Jeffery (vocals, guitar), and Julien Tiberi (drums). The group formed in 2023 during a concert organized for an exhibition opening in the garage of La Volonté 93 in Saint-Ouen.
Their first performances were entirely improvised, until spring 2025, when they composed and recorded their debut album, OK Deluxe, at the DUUU radio studio in Paris.
Their music is a collage of highly diverse influences, ranging from Nirvana (Martigues) to Nirvana (Aberdeen) to Nirvana (Zagreb), from Barry White to Nico, and from The Durutti Column to Ligeti. So basically, a playlist assembled by someone who refuses to make a single coherent life decision.
The concert at the Fondation Pernod Ricard is organized on the occasion of the release of their first album, produced in an edition of 30 vinyl copies, each sleeve painted and drawn by the three members of the group.
