We kept turning over its torments in a small book that minutely went through the end of this short-lived love story, now that it had nothing left of a romance and oscillated between forgiveness and resentment, bitterness and relief, with one promise to repair the damage following another until fate prevailed. This private affair had been made public in a tactful manner. Then it was something else: the state of things, the regret left by another breakup, that between contemporary art and love, which unlike the other one could never be accepted. But since few breakups can truly be fixed, since alienated lovers rarely get a second chance, what could be done? How not to persist in error and sew the pieces back together between these two ex-lovers?
