Conceived in collaboration with the online daily AOC, the series of meetings « In the library of » invites personalities from the world of culture and ideas to return to the readings that have shaped them and that continue to accompany them.

As part of the cycle In the Library of, conceived in partnership with AOC and hosted by Sylvain Bourmeau, the Foundation welcomes the French director, actress and screenwriter Aïssa Maïga.

Born in Dakar, Senegal on May 25, 1975, Aïssa Maïga is known to the French public in 2004, for her role in « Les Poupées Russes », directed by Cédric Klapisch. In 2006, she was nominated for the César of the best female hope, thanks to her role in « Bamako » by Abderrahmane Sissako.

A committed artist, she co-wrote and directed the book « Noire n’est pas mon métier » and also directed a short film and two documentaries: « Regard noir » and « Marcher sur l’eau », produced by Les Films du losange.
