Mondes Nouveaux #6 / The Parliament of the living

Monday 21 November 2022 at 7 pm

Mondes Nouveaux at the Fondation Pernod Ricard is seven original evenings of artists questioning and anticipating the worlds to come, organized by Caroline Naphegyi, with the complicity of Bernard Blistène, Lucie Campos Mitchell, Ronan de Calan, Noé Soulier and Julien Creuzet. A program of the Ministry of Culture

In this "Parliament of the living", all forms of terrestrial inhabitants will meet to debate and decide on their common future: humans, but also plants, animals, seas or forests will take part in the discussion, the negotiation, the arbitrations, the ideals and the concessions. New questions arise: how to represent all these forms of life, how to express their speech and decision making? Located on the web.3, this virtual - and indeed participatory - space is a prefiguration of future politics. Through the chosen themes, the proposed visions, and the various positions taken, I hope that these new imaginaries will take shape, which are so lacking to project ourselves positively into the future.
