Panel discussion and book launch Laurent Montaron
New monography published by Mousse Publishing
On the occasion of the launch of Laurent Montaron’s monograph, TextWork is organizing a roundtable discussion and inviting the authors who contributed to the book, Mike Sperlinger and Philippe-Alain Michaud, to dialogue with the artist Laurent Montaron and the co-director of Les Moulins de Paillard, Shelly De Vito.
Designed to document three solo exhibitions – Dioramas at the Pernod Ricard Foundation, Paris (2016-17), the exhibition at Moulins de Paillard in Poncé-sur-le-Loir (2018), and Replica at the CCA – Center for Contemporary Art Tel Aviv (2018) – this publication edited by Mousse Publishing includes an essay by Philippe-Alain Michaud as well as Mike Sperlinger’s commissioned essay for the TextWork platform, and offers a comprehensive overview of the artist’s work over nearly twenty years.
Hélène Révay (poet and playwright) and Alexandre Colliex (executive director of Manifesto Expo), will intervene in a round table during this presentation and will exchange with Pierre Dumonthier.
