Platform Poetry Auteuriser

Thursday 3 December 2020 at 6 pm

This “Poésie Plateforme” (Platform Poetry) meeting brings together Josselin Bordat, novelist and co-founder of the Brain Magazine site, and David Desrimais, co-founder and director of JBE Books. Both, according to specific modalities, design, practice and renew the distribution / edition of the text and the book, and the creation of auctoriality, in the age of digital potentialities.

The uses of Artificial Intelligence bring them together. Thus JBE Books published 1 the Road, the first book written by a car (whose author is Ross Godwin), and Josselin Bordat Le_zéro_et_le_un.txt, autobiography of an AI, so many brilliant literary objects that question (not without humor) the authority / authorization of the text, its supports and author (s) in contemporary socio-technical devices.

Josselin Bordat is an author and director. We owe him the recent novel Le_zéro_et_le_un.txt, Flammarion, 2019; and the collection of short stories 2069, Anne Carrière, 2020.

He is the author or co-author of several books, on web culture as well: How to become a ninja for free, Brain, 2011; or Lol Chats, I read, 2013; but also of political satire, Papy, auntie and me: The false secret notebook of Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, Flammarion, 2016.

Co-founder of Brain Magazine, with Anaïs Carayon, he is editor-in-chief of CRAC CRAC on Canal +, creator of podcasts, and author for comedians like Thomas VDB and Monsieur Poulpe.

David Desrimais is an editor. Founder and director of Jean Boîte Éditions (with Mathieu Cénac, since 2011), he publishes books in the digital age, in the fields of art, humanities and poetry. Designed with artists and authors from around the world, all publications are distributed internationally (in fifteen countries today). Texts, books and artists’ books have been published by Douglas Coupland, Derek Beaulieu, Kenneth Goldsmith, David Horvitz, Florence Jung, Tarik Kiswanson, Franck Leibovici, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Lina Scheynius …

He is also an expert and director of digital projects for cultural and scientific institutions, and associate professor in the Master in Literary Creation-Parcours Edition at Clermont Auvergne University.
