Adam Kleinman

Adam Kleinman tells stories that examine how forms of information describe, proscribe, organize, and even misrepresent reality.  He is Lead Curator for North America at KADIST; Kleinman was previously Editor-in-chief and Adjunct Curator at Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art; Agent for Public Programing at dOCUMENTA (13); and Curator at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.  He has organized numerous exhibitions, programs, and events, and has authored monographs for artists such as Pedro Reyes, John Latham, and Rossella Biscotti; Kleinman is a frequent contributor to Artforum, and other like publications as well. He has curated several monographic exhibitions dedicated to the presentation of artists such as Gala Porras-Kim, and American Artist, and is the commissioner of new work by artists including Carlos Motta, Trevor Paglen, Davide-Christelle Sanvee, Jérôme Bel & Andros Zins-Browne.  Kleinman participated in the 56th Venice Biennale (curated by Okwui Enwezor) as well as several other large format perennial exhibitions.
