Christophe Gallois

Curator

Christophe Gallois was born in 1978 at Béthune.

Christophe Gallois has been the curator and director of exhibitions at Mudam, Luxembourg, since 2007 and in collaboration with institutions such as the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Aagauer Kunsthaus, Whitechapel Gallery in London, Kunsthalle Mannheim, and Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.

He was the curator of several major collective exhibitions, including The Space of Words (2009) and L’Image papillon (2013), and solo exhibitions by artists such as Guillaume Leblon (2009), John Stezaker (2011), Sanja Ivekovic (2012), Fiona Tan (2016), Su-Mei Tse (2017), Jeff Wall (2018), Katinka Bock (2018), David Wojnarowicz (2019), LaToya Ruby Frazier (2019), Zoe Leonard (2022), and Tacita Dean (2022).

In 2022, he was the curator of the Pavillon du Luxembourg at the 59th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. As an author, he regularly writes essays and conducts interviews for magazines, exhibition catalogues, and monographs.
