Didier Houénoudé (lives and works in Benin) is a Beninese art historian,
professor (teaching and research) at the University of Abomey-Calavi. His
interest principally concerns the issue of identity in African contemporary
art, patrimonial questions, urbanism and the development of African cities. He
also manages the Direction of the Culture and the Heritage of the City hall of
Porto-Novo. He worked as curator of Porto-Nov’art (in 2008 and 2010) situated
at the Cultural center Ouadada of Porto-Novo in Benin.
