Flora Bouteille is an artist and director of the performance company Angels' Front, which she founded in 2023. She creates sets in which performance is seen as a tool for social transformation and experimental research.

During her performances, each participant is invited to engage with their bodies, their choices and the moral dimension of their actions. Flora's projects, driven by a collective energy, are tools for understanding the psychological landscape of our time and the challenges to our political imagination and capacity for action. Angels' Front, defined in their manifesto as "an artistic and political project mobilising an international network of agents", are working on a re-reading of historical materialism in relation to technological advances. They are an open group whose aim is to spread and create liberating ways of being together.

Flora Bouteille - along with Angels' Front - are the guests in the Fondation Pernod Ricard's Paris Performance programme for the 2023-2024 season, and will also be in residence at La Villette as part of the Initiatives d'Artistes programme, a project supported by the FoRTE grant from the Ile-de-France region. Flora Bouteille has presented her work at La Villette as part of the 100% festival in 2023, at the Biennale d'art et d'architecture du Frac Centre (2022), at Le Crédac (2022), at the Trajectoires festival at Le LU, Scène Nationale, Nantes (2022) and as part of the Étoiles distantes programme at the FRAC des Pays de la Loire, Nantes (2021 and 2022).
