Franck Balland has been Head of Programming at the Fondation Pernod Ricard since 2022.

Also an art critic and independent curator, he has organized exhibitions at the Frac des Pays de la Loire (“Étoiles Distantes,” 2021) and at Galerie Florence Loewy (“La Fatigue,” 2021–2022).

He also curated the joint residency program “Excellence des métiers d’art” (Drac Bourgogne – Esaab Nevers), which resulted in a series of exhibitions at Ravisus Textor in Nevers between 2019 and 2022. In 2022, he regularly lectured at ENSA Dijon, teaching courses on current developments in contemporary art. A curator at the Palais de Tokyo from 2019 to 2020, he was one of the curators of the exhibition “Futur, ancien, fugitif,” dedicated to the French art scene. He served as manager of Galerie Marcelle Alix in 2017 and was in charge of off-site exhibitions for Parc Saint Léger, a contemporary art center in Pougues-les-Eaux, from 2014 to 2016.
