Nicolas Bourriaud

French art critic, theoretician and curator, Nicolas Bourriaud (born 1965) was co-founder and co-director of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2000-2006), and Gulbenkian Curator for Contemporary Art at Tate Britain. He was the director of the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 2011 to 2015. After being the artistic director of La Panacée, artistic center of Montpellier, he is now the Chief Director of Montpellier Contemporain (MoCo), cultural hub gathering the art center La Panacée, the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and the future Musée des Collections.
