Emilie Pitoiset
Born in 1980, lives and works in Paris and Toulouse
Emilie Pitoiset is developing her research on the body (physical and social) in crisis, on chaos, on territories of exhaustion, and on the forms of resistance that result. His sculptures, installations, videos and choreographic works question movement as a social practice. His works have been presented in several institutions in France and abroad: Centre Pompidou, Palais de Tokyo, Witte de With, Schirn Museum Frankfurt, Tai Kwun Contemporary in Hong Kong... Her work can be seen in 2024 at Les Abattoirs (Toulouse) for a group show, as well as in a solo show at Klemm's (Berlin).
