Nick Mauss about Nicolas Moufarrege
A conversation with German-American artist Nick Mauss about the life and work of Nicolas Moufarrege (1947–1985), an Egyptian artist born to Lebanese parents who lived in Paris and later in New York in the early 1980s. We will talk about the desire and attention artists bring to the work of others, the encounter with an unknown work of art, and the drive to look outside a canonical network of legitimacy.
