Alice Dusapin
Alice Dusapin is an editor and curator.
Her research focuses on artists with trajectories located at the periphery of established art history narratives. She co-founds and directs the journal Octopus Notes, Daisy Editions, as well as Ampersand, an independent exhibition program founded in Lisbon in 2017.
Her work was supported by the CNAP, the Jan Michalski Foundation and the Getty Research Institute. Resident in art history at the Académie de France in Rome – Villa Medici in 2020-2021, she worked there on the physicist, poet and publisher Bern Porter (1911-2004). In 2022, she wrote and published the first monograph dedicated to the video artist and performer Wolfgang Stoerchle, Success in Failure for which she was awarded the Terra Foundation Prize for American Art. She signs exhibitions with institutions and galleries such as Marian Goodman (Paris), Air de Paris (Romainville), Overduin & Co. (Los Angeles), the MACRO (Rome) and Culturgest (Lisbon).
Her recent projects include the Andy & Karen Stillpass collection in Cincinnati, as well as artists Tina Girouard, Ana Jotta, Chris Langdon, Douna Lim, Nathalie Magnan and Bruno Pélassy. From 2023 to 2026, she was a member of the TextWork committee of the Ricard Foundation. Since 2024, she has been in charge of publishing at the Villa Arson (Nice) and schedules the Paris International fair’s series of talks.
