Platform Poetry Interrupt

Tuesday 7 July 2020 at 5 pm

This last « Platform Poetry » meeting before the summer brought together, for an impromptu dialogue, Avital Ronell, one of the most daring American theorists, and Vincent Broqua, poet, essayist and translator.

With lockdown, almost the entire world has come to a standstill. From a Parisian apartment, Avital Ronell launched on the Internet her superb Salut, Hello (Testing 1,2,3), a strong and moving address to the event. For his part, Vincent Broqua fired rockets at liberty, he wrote fires, criticisms which join his expenses of the day. Then that very suspension ended in its turn.

« Interrupt » was the opportunity to stop for a moment the course of the multiple versions between texts, hypotheses and languages, and their exaltation, that Avital Ronell in the deconstruction of philosophical and literary concepts practices and samples, and that Vincent Broqua in the woven listening of writings, criticisms and sentences, questions.
