Poetry Plateform To love

Friday 9 October 2020 at 8:30 pm

In March 2020, a few days before confinement, Jérôme Mauche brought together, as part of the Poetry Platform cycle, writer Christine Angot and artist Léonore Chastagner,  mother and daughter. The writer and the artist later met in Montevideo-Marseille during the Actoral festival for a new session around the verb « TO LOVE ».

The literary material that Christine Angot favors is that of her own existence, of which she explores the private and public aesthetic links.
We owe her in particular the novels Vu du ciel, Léonore toujours, L’Inceste, Quitter la ville, Rendez-vous, Une Semaine de vacances, La Petite Foule, Un amour impossible and recently Un tournant de la vie, published by Éditions Flammarion.

Christine Angot is Léonore Chastagner’s mother.

After a course in Art History, Léonore Chastagner is currently studying at Villa Arson, École Nationale Supérieure d’Art, in Nice.
She participated in the exhibition A Summer in New York and organized the exhibition of Plastic Poems by Fernando Arrabal at the Montparnasse Museum.

Léonore Chastagner is the daughter of Christine Angot.
