Cudelice Brazelton IV was born in Dallas in 1991 and lives in Frankfurt am Main.

He completed his studies at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste (Städelschule) in 2021. In 2016, he studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Madison. The artist combines materials such as fabric, leather, acrylic, metal or cardboard to create three-dimensional works that extend the medium of painting (in the classic sense of the term) into the space.
The use of collage and assemblage create references to different contexts and circumstances, each with its own codes and behaviours; these elements meet and coexist in neutral ways, with no value hierarchy applied to them. His work has been presented in solo exhibitions, notably at the Cell Project Space in London and the Wschód Gallery in Warsaw, and he has contributed to collective exhibitions at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, the Kunstverein Freiburg, the Swiss Institute and the Sculpture Center in New York. Cudelice Brazelton IV teaches at De Ateliers in Amsterdam.
