Jesi Khadivi

Jesi Khadivi is an
independent curator, writer, and editor based in Berlin.

She is the Editor-at-Large of Sur (Guayaba Press, Mexico City), an annual bi-lingual journal premised on an aesthetics of encounter, specifically between the writing, art, and ideas expressed in Mexican culture in relation to discourses, philosophies, and art generated elsewhere. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Frieze, Fillip, Flash Art, Kaleidoscope, Ibraaz, Esse, and The Brooklyn Rail, among many other venues. In 2013, she co-curated Etel Adnan: Words and Places at the Wattis Institute—Adnan’s first institutional solo exhibition in North America. Other recent projects include exhibitions and public programs with artists like Emily Wardill, Paul Branca, and David Horvitz.
