Born in 1987, Phœbe Hadjimarkos Clarke is the author of novels, short stories, and poetry.

Her first book, Tabor, was published by Éditions du Sabot in 2021, and her second novel, Aliène, released by Éditions du Sous-sol in 2024, won the Prix du Livre Inter the same year. She has published two poetry collections: Cadavres, crymimicry (2022), and 18 Brum’hair (Rotolux Press, 2023), the latter in collaboration with Ma Marttin Desinde. She also writes for artists, musicians, and journals. Additionally, she translates texts in the fields of the humanities and contemporary art for publishers, institutions, and magazines.
