Let’s talk about someone else : A series of talks at Paris Internationale 2026

The cycle

"Let's Talk About Someone Else is the new chapter in the Talks program organized by the Fondation Pernod Ricard, which I have the pleasure of curating at Paris Internationale for the third year running. Having previously spoken with curators, publishers and researchers about the independent structures and spaces they have organically founded and run, this year’s cycle shifts the focus onto the artists who put us to work. Four guests, four strong affinities with an artist’s practice, and four objects of desire, research and transmission. Whether they have collaborated with an artist or looked to extend their lineage, whether they have reactivated a work or rediscovered a forgotten career, each guest will talk about someone else. Their subjects are anything but random: after all, choosing who to research, taking up a body of work, unearthing an archive or passing on an oeuvre is also a way of telling one’s own story. Behind these gestures, what is really at stake is the love we cultivate for other people's work, and the way in which it feeds into our own practices. Here, João dos Santos Martins, Nick Mauss, Baptiste Pinteaux and Marie Warsh will join me to discuss the work of Ana Jotta, Nicolas Moufarrege, PaJaMa and Rosemary Mayer."

Alice Dusapin is a publisher and curator. Her research focuses on artists whose careers sit at the margins of established art-historical narratives. She is the co-founder and editor of the journal octopus notes, of Daisy editions, and of Ampersand, an independent exhibition program founded in Lisbon in 2017.
